DJ backline at a multi-stage festival is a logistics job as much as anything. Every stage needs its own setup. CDJ-3000s, DJM-900NXS2 mixers, booth monitors, cabling. All of it has to be tested, labelled and ready before the first act walks on. We supplied and managed the DJ backline across R&V, making sure each stage had what it needed and that gear swaps happened fast when they needed to. No drama, no missing cables, no dead channels.
Backline sounds simple but at festival scale it's a proper operation. Spares on hand, quick-swap plans, crew who know the gear inside out. Everything ran clean. We were also handling the Garden Stage production at the same time, so the team was busy.
