Not every event needs a festival rig. Sometimes it's a wireless mic and a couple of speakers for a ceremony. Other times it's a full PA with front-of-house, monitors, and subs shaking the floor. We stock systems at every scale and we'll match the right one to your event.
We've done PA for birthday parties in backyards, speeches at corporate dinners, DJ sets in warehouses, and full band setups at festivals around Canterbury. The common thread is clean sound and gear that actually works when you turn it on.
Perfect for speeches, small ceremonies, or background music. A pair of powered speakers on stands, a small mixer, and a wireless mic. Simple, clean, and easy to run. Covers up to about 80 people comfortably.
For parties, weddings, and events up to a few hundred people. Tops and subs, a proper mixing desk, and enough power to keep a dance floor going all night. This is our most popular hire for private events and DJ setups.
Festival-scale rigs. Line arrays, stacked subs, front-of-house and monitor desks, delays for deep crowds. We run these on main stages and large outdoor events. Always comes with an operator. Check our event production page for full-scale builds.
We keep things straightforward. You tell us what you need, we quote it honestly, and we show up on time with gear that works. We've done the sound for Ensoc balls, Lads Without Labels parties, and plenty of private events around Christchurch. We know how to read a room and dial in the right level.
Need speakers only? We do that. Want the full production with PA, lighting, and staging? Head over to our services page or drop us a line.
Tell us about your event and we'll put a package together.

A PA system is the full package: speakers, mixing desk, microphones, stands, and all the cabling. Speaker hire usually means just the speakers and subs themselves. If you need someone to plug in a mic and have it come out the other end, you want PA hire.
Yes. We do dry hire for people who are comfortable setting up and running their own sound. We'll deliver the gear, walk you through the setup, and pick it up afterwards. For anything larger or more complex, we'd recommend having one of our operators on site.
As early as possible. Weekends in summer fill up fast, especially around ball season and festival season. A few weeks notice is usually fine for smaller setups, but for large events we recommend locking it in a couple of months out.
