Festoon lighting makes any outdoor space feel like somewhere you want to hang around. Warm white bulbs on black cable, draped between trees or across a marquee. Simple, but it changes the whole mood of a place. We hire festoon for weddings, markets, garden parties, corporate functions, and pretty much anything outdoors that needs a bit of atmosphere after dark.
We handle the lot. We come to your venue, figure out the best way to run the lines, install everything, and come back after to take it down. You don't need to worry about rigging, power runs, or getting up ladders. We bring our own gear and sort it out.
Warm white LED bulbs on black cable. Each string is 15m long and we carry up to 4km of festoon in stock, so we can cover anything from a small courtyard to a full festival site. Strings join together to cover whatever distance your venue needs. Looks clean during the day and comes alive at night.
We do a site visit or work from your venue plan to figure out the layout. Then we come in before the event, run all the lines, and make sure everything is secure and powered. Trees, poles, buildings, marquee frames. We work with what's there.
We sort all the power distribution and cabling. If you need it paired with other lighting or wedding AV, we can build a package that covers the lot. Dimmers available on request.
We've strung festoon at weddings in vineyards, markets in Hagley Park, and private parties in backyards around Christchurch. It's one of those things that looks straightforward until you're trying to get 200 metres of cable evenly draped at 3 metres high across an uneven paddock. We've done it enough times to make it look easy.

Yes. We run festoon between trees, along fences, across marquees, between buildings, and off temporary poles. We bring our own rigging gear and cable ties. If there's nothing to attach to, we can set up free-standing poles to run the lines from.
Absolutely. Weddings are one of the most common uses for our festoon lighting. We come in before the event to install and come back after to remove. It pairs well with our other wedding services like AV hire and speaker hire.
