Planning a school ball is a lot of work. Booking the venue, sorting the theme, managing tickets, and then figuring out who's doing the sound and lighting on top of all that. We take the production side off your plate completely.
We've done balls at Rochester, Rutherford Hall, Tupuanuku, and plenty of other Christchurch venues. We know the power setups, the load-in access, and where to rig the truss without blocking sightlines. Our crew arrives in the afternoon, builds the show, runs it all night, and packs it out afterwards. You don't need to think about it.
PA system sized for the venue, with clear audio for speeches early in the evening and punchy sound for the dance floor later. Wireless mics for MCs and speakers. We manage the levels throughout the night so it's appropriate for every part of the event.
Lighting is what turns a hall into a ball. Moving heads, wash lights, strobes, lasers, UV, and haze. We programme the show to match the vibe and run it live all night. Extras like CO2 jets, low fog for the first dance, and confetti cannons are available too.
Full DJ setup with CDJ-3000s, DJM mixer, booth monitoring, and a proper truss booth or facade. Your DJ just needs to turn up with their USB sticks. We have the rest covered.

As early as you can. Ball season is busy and we can only take on a limited number each year. Schools that book in Term 1 for a Term 2 or 3 ball have the best chance of getting their preferred date.
A typical package includes PA and sound for speeches and music, a full lighting rig with moving heads, wash, effects, lasers, and haze, a DJ booth with CDJs and mixer, and an operator running it all night. We also do extras like CO2 jets, confetti, low fog, and custom gobo projections.
Absolutely. Bring whoever you want. We'll provide the DJ gear and make sure they have everything they need. If you don't have a DJ lined up, we can recommend some good ones.
