Hike & Dine for a Cure is a charity fundraiser that mixes an outdoor hike with a sit-down dinner and live entertainment. That means the production has to work across multiple phases of the night. We set up screens for presentations and live vision, a full PA for speeches and music, stage lighting, and a proper stage. The crew managed it all on a tight schedule. Charity events like this need to run perfectly because there's usually just one shot at it each year.
This event runs on goodwill and tight organisation. Our crew handled the AV and staging so the organisers could focus on what matters. Screens were key for the auction and presentations. The lighting shifted from warm dinner ambiance to full stage mode once the entertainment kicked in. Similar approach to what we bring to other charity events like Hiit For Hope.
