ConCarne brings heat. Wild Horses was a packed room with big energy and the lighting had to match. We ran the full lighting rig and FX, all controlled live from the desk. The design was built around fast movement and hard contrast. Strobes, haze, colour shifts that tracked the intensity of the music. This is the kind of show where you're reacting in real time and the operator has to know the music as well as the gear.
Live-operated lighting is a different beast to timecoded shows. You read the room, you read the DJ, and you push the rig accordingly. The room was packed and the energy never dropped. Similar vibe to what we did for the Offline Ivy Lab show at Hide Club.
